Brolly
For the hallway

Do I need a brolly?

Brolly turns a spare tablet into a calm, beautiful screen by the front door: the weather in a sentence, the bikes outside, and your household's week, at a glance.

Weather

The forecast, in a sentence.

“Dry until 4pm, then light rain.” The next twelve hours drawn as a soft curve, and five days ahead. Powered by the Met Office's UK model, or your own Met Office DataHub key.

Bikes

The docks outside your door.

Pin up to twelve bike docks and see bikes, e-bikes and spaces as rows of dots, live. The board shows six; tap for a map of them all.

This week

Everyone's week, together.

Each member adds their own Google calendars. Brolly merges them into one quiet Monday-to-Sunday view, with a countdown to whatever's next.

How it works

Ten minutes, then it just sits there being useful.

  1. 1

    Make a home

Name it, add your postcode and pick your bike docks.

  2. 2

    Add calendars

Connect Google and tick the calendars to show. Invite the people you live with to add theirs.

  3. 3

    Pair a screen

Open brolly.day/display on any tablet and scan the code. It stays on until you unpair it.

Your calendars stay yours

Read-only, by design.

  • Brolly asks Google for read-only calendar access, and only reads the calendars you tick.
  • Each member manages their own calendars. Nobody else in the household can see your list or change it.
  • Screens show event times and titles, nothing more, and can't change anything.
  • Disconnect Google whenever you like and Brolly forgets your token straight away.
  • Read the privacy policy

Know before you open the door.
